Fees
How we quote an audit engagement
Pricing follows scope: licence type, sample size, on-site days, and whether the output must brief a board or only management. Figures below are orientation points before a written quote.
| Engagement | Typical starting point | What moves the fee |
|---|---|---|
| Regulatory Compliance Audit | From NT$280,000 | Multiple entities, large merchant books, dual-language reporting |
| Payment Operations Review | From NT$160,000 | Length of break history, number of rails, on-site observation |
| Safeguarding & Capital Assessment | NT$190,000–NT$350,000 | Bank evidence volume, committee presentation |
| Pre-Licensing Readiness Review | From NT$220,000 | Policy maturity, workshop count, evidence map depth |
Estimate factors we ask about
- Licence status and intended supervisory path
- Customer or merchant population for sampling
- Whether prior internal audit papers exist
- Need for Chiayi or Taipei on-site days
- Language of the final memorandum
What is not in the fee
- Legal opinions or formal licence drafting
- Statutory financial audit work
- Travel beyond the quoted on-site plan (billed at cost)
- Follow-on remediation project management unless retained separately
Deposits and billing
Most engagements invoice a portion on acceptance of the engagement letter and the balance on delivery of the final memorandum. Day-rate work for narrow reviews is billed weekly or at close-out by agreement. Fees are informational until a signed letter confirms the amount.
